SPRING BREAK!

Next week finalizes the first half of our program which means.... Another assessment day is coming.

You've all worked really hard and have a lot to show for it, so now we're just putting the results on paper.

Here's next weeks schedule:

Monday: Assessments -- DO NOT MISS THIS!!!! It will help us evaluate your progress and help you continuously improve.  It will also help you see what you're doing right and where you need to improve further in the following 6 weeks.

Tuesday: Weight lifting in Sparky's Yard (aka Sparky's Barn Yard... Sarah...)

Wednesday: Cardio -- intro to Tabata intervals and more.

Thursday:  TBD... We'll see how much you all impress us on the first 3 days!

P.S.  Reply back on here if you were one of the people interested in doing Pat's Run with Cabrena and others?  It's "only" 4.2 miles... You can all handle that!

Alright so I guess I'll go first... So before I met all of you I was kind of worried about the class because last year wasn't as cool, I only came two days a week. The other two days were with another trainer who I didn't communicate with at all about our group. I was a little sceptical about working with another guy after that. But once Ben and I met we were full of ideas and kept finding a million different ways to train everyone. It was super exciting and it's the same energy we still bring each day while planning our sessions. My class last year only had 5 people, but right away Ben said we wanted 15 people at least. And We are STILL growing!!!

I love the attitude everyone brings and how the group encourages each other on their own. Everyone who shows up constantly and works hard is going to see AWESOME results. I feel like teaching this class is making me a better trainer as well. LOVE IT!!!

Shape Up!

Hey everyone, this is kind of my "test post."  I've created a blog that you're all able to post on.  This has shown to be super effective with group training in the past, and it can help you all track your goals, how you feel each day, and ask us/others for more advice.

So, we'll add posts on here and contribute your thoughts as well.  Tell everyone where you struggle and where you already see improvements.  Post achievements too and you never know who it will motivate!
